Over the past two decades, the Critical Care Communities among Australia, New Zealand and Singapore have enjoyed deepening and mutually constructive ties. In an effort to nurture this relationship to the next level, the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS), and the Society of Intensive Care Medicine (Singapore) have come together to co-host the first Singapore-ANZICS Intensive Care Forum 2011.
We are honoured that renowned and inspiring critical care experts from the American, European and Asian Continents have committed to participate in this Conference’s Scientific Program, alongside their counterparts from ANZICS and Singapore. The Scientific Content will have its major focus on engaging and practical issues facing clinicians. In line with our theme of “Linking Current Evidence to Clinical Practice”, we hope to encourage sharing of ideas, success stories and lessons learnt through active participation among speakers, audiences and poster presenters.
This Conference is held over a long weekend, in the welcoming tropical warmth of Singapore. Singapore is a compact microcosm of multicultural experiences that can be enjoyed by all ages. We anticipate a delightful ambience and a full variety of refreshing social activities for the delegates and accompanying persons.
We also gratefully anticipate the participation of various industries in the Trade Exhibition, where delegates could have close-up assessment of a full range of patient care products.
We are glad to extend a warm invitation to Intensive Care Practitioners from all regions to join us in this Forum, for a fruitful time of professional exchange and networking.
