Augustine Tee is a Senior Consultant Respiratory Physician and Intensivist, and also Chief of Department of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine, Changi General Hospital, Singapore. He holds a MMed (Internal Medicine) S’pore, FRCP (Edin & Glasg) and FCCP (USA). He is Adjunct Assistant professor at the NUS Yong loo Lin School of Medicine (Singapore). Other appointments include Chair of Chapter of Respiratory Physicians at the College of Physicians; Vice-president of Asthma & Allergy Association; Member for MOH COPD clinical practice guidelines 2013 and lead clinician for EHA integrated care for COPD; Chair of CGH Medication Safety Committee and member of the National Medication Safety workgroup. He is particularly interested in rapid response systems and has been the clinical director of the CGH Medical Emergency Team committee since its formation.
Of late, he is part of the newly formed Chapter of Intensivists in the Academy of Medicine. Besides this, Dr Tee reviews for several medical journals, with a certificate of reviewing with distinction from the Singapore Medical Journal (2009, 2010 & 2013) and also serves on various pharmaceutical local COPD advisory boards. He is currently an investigator on 10 clinical trials covering many aspects of respiratory and critical care medicine, and also teaches as core faculty in the Singhealth Advanced Internal Medicine Senior Residency programme.
